-Split the paper into five different topics from the reading. (approx 275 words per topic)
In order to discuss the topic in a way which is manageable, we are confining our interest to the tobacco industry and major league baseball.
While it is not surprising that tobacco use was so common in North America in earlier times, it might strike us rather peculiar that professional sports players would have also been smokers (or chewers). Do you think they were just as susceptible as other people to the messages carried by advertisements? Why do you think the collusion between major league baseball and tobacco lasted for so long?
Other than for those two general questions, it is now time to leave the direction of the discussion to you.
