Be sure that you understand the meaning of all the words. Do background study and word studies as needed to understand each term. Next, identify the historical-cultural and literary context. When and where is this law given? What does the surrounding text discuss? Finally, apply the Interpretive Journey to the text by completing for your selected passage the five-step Interpretive Journey typed into the Word file.
