Review the Case Study, “Dan” in Chapter 5 of your Hutchinson textbook – see attachment
Imagine you are the social worker working with Dan Lee. How would you respond to Dan statements: I do not know how much Ive gotten out of this, but I know you tried to help and I appreciate that? Select two theories or concepts that provide you with insight into Dans case?
Considering what you have read about normal and abnormal coping, mental disorders, psychosocial development, deviance, and social functioning, identify at least two theories discussed this week that can help a social worker understand Dans coping strategies.
Provide an overview of Bowlby and Ainsworth’s attachment theories.
