Please answer these three questions:
What draws you to counseling and the particular concentration you have chosen within that profession;
Discuss any personal and professional experiences that have helped prepare you to begin graduate studies in the counseling profession;
Share your perspective regarding the role of multiculturalism and social justice in counseling
In the essay please include that I had failing grades as a result of my learning disability and I fell into a depression and I was able to overcome my struggles with the help of my school counselor. Please also include that I was a substitute teacher in an urban school district where I also acted as a counselor for students coping with drug addicted parents, incarcerated parents etc. Can you include that this experience has been the reason for my interest in school counseling.
