Instructions for M3 assignment
For the Project Step 1 assignment, please submit brief topic description for your research project, i.e. the Memo to the President. It should be several paragraphs long containing the following:
- Short overview of the subject
- Explain the research question you would like to address
- Outline your argument, i.e your policy recommendation
Topic Samples
- The mass killings of Rohingya people in Myanmar
- The Islamic State/ISIS and the killings of Yazidis
- Genocide prevention and education
- The politics of memorials commemorating genocide
- China and its mistreatment of minorities, such as the Uyghurs in Western China.
- The Palestinian-Israeli conflict
