The book of Exodus presents for us the dramatic experience of life in Egypt and God’s deliverance of the Hebrew people (Israelites). For this assignment, write a reflection (in the style of a letter, diary entry, or story) imagining what the events described in Exodus 1-15 might have looked like from an Egyptian’s perspective. Imagine you are an Egyptian witnessing the events and responding to them.
Aim to include as much information as you can from the text itself–not from popular retellings, what you remember from the Prince of Egypt, etc. 🙂
