Discuss in a paper your policy dealing with parents of the student athletes on your team. Address the following questions in your paper:
How are you dealing with the drug and alcohol abuse so prevalent in our society?
What programs have you implemented to combat this problem?
How are you dealing with the more common boy/girl domestic violence problems in our schools that have resulted in date rape and physical abuse to women? We have seen this more and more among our student athletes.
After researching what other coaches and organizations are doing to combat these issues, will there be any change in your philosophy? If so, what are the changes?
Length: 5-7 pages; minimum of 3 scholarly resources required.
Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.
