compare and contrast these two forms of government as they were practiced in ancient Sparta
and Athens and explain the lessons the American Founders learned from their knowledge of
these ancient city-states. Be sure to address issues of government structure and citizenship as
well as the strengths and weaknesses that the American Founders associated with the
governments of each of these ancient Greek polis.
