Assignment #1- Out of Comfort Zone Assessment Paper The first assignment is a personal growth exercise 2-part assignment. The purpose of this exercise is to provide you with the experience of being a minority and to expose you to cultural differences between yourself and others in an unfamiliar environment. Your task identifies a population that makes you uncomfortable or one that you would like to understand better. Please ensure you think about being able to social distance and safety as well as speak about this in this paper.
Part 1:
After you have given thought to different dimensions of diversity, identify a population that makes you uncomfortable or one that you would like to understand better. Write a paper in APA format at least one (1) page that includes a discussion of each of the following bullet points:
1-A description of your out-of-comfort zone population;
2-A discussion of the primary/secondary dimension(s) of the diversity of this population; and
3-A discussion of past thoughts, priming, stereotypes/biases, experiences, etc. contributing to this being an out-of-comfort zone population.
