The readings this week focus on the concept of ‘redemption’ in policy discussions surrounding the use of criminal records to inform employment decisions. Critique the associated policy reforms as they pertain to the use of criminal records, barriers to employment, and successful reintegration. It is better to be more focused in your analysis than broad, so you will have to make some strategic decision about what your essay’s focus. Essay is limited to 1,000 words or less.
