Why are many of the characters intent on the idea of falling in love? Is it to allay boredom since the characters are in the countryside, away from Moscow? Explore this question of love focusing on any two pairs of relationships: Andrey-Natasha; Masha-Vershinin-Kuligin; Irina-Tuzenbach-Soleni;
