For example, could students’ high school grade point averages (GPA) be useful in predicting their first-year college GPAs? Data on high school GPA and first-year college GPA from a random sample of 32 college students attending a state university.
The results of the regression analysis are shown below.
- Discuss conclusions that can be made using a significance level of 0.05.
- Discuss factors that may determine the unexplained variation in the first year college GPAs.
