How are cellular respiration and photosynthesis connected?
One way to test your knowledge is to try to explain it to someone. If you cant verbally explain the idea, then you probably do not understand it sufficiently. Once you can put the information into your own words, you will deepen your understanding and strengthen your memory.
For this assignment, you will be explaining how the processes of cellular respiration and photosynthesis are related to each other. Imagine that the person you are explaining this to is not a biologist or a chemist. In fact, they have very little, if any, background in science. Since this is the case, you must break the information down into terms and examples that they will be able to understand.
For this explanation, keep in mind that you should address
Whether each of these processes is catabolic or anabolic
How the reactants and products of the two processes relate to each other
Whether one of these processes can occur without the other
You will produce a brief oral explanation (3-5 minutes) of this concept. You are welcome to use diagrams or sketches if you feel they will help illustrate the concept. Your submission for this assignment will be the video file containing the video that you have created.
