Imagine you are the HR manager of an organization with a variety of employees including salespeople. The owner has expressed a desire to implement background checks for new employees. Based on your readings and additional research, what are some concerns that you might have with implementing this type of policy? Are there any Federal employment laws that are applicable to background checks and how would that influence your decision? Have you ever had to submit to a background check for a position?
