Analyze how your film scene represents an issue related to American Mythology. Engage a course reading of your choosing to craft an initial lens that helps you make an insightful claim about the scenes representation of this issue. You may craft additional lenses that extend or complicate your analysis from other course readings.
Criteria for Evaluation-
Is the analysis informed and driven by a lens or by lenses developed from course readings to develop an interpretation of the scene?
Does the paper develop an insightful claim about how the film represents an issue related to American Mythology?
Does the paper draw interpretive conclusions by asking and answering So What?
Does the paper offer abundant textual details to support its thesis, including paraphrases and direct quotations?
Does the paper exhibit clarity and coherence? Does it use strong transitions to guide its reader through a logical progression of ideas?
Does the paper contain few, if any, grammatical, spelling, or punctuation errors?
Does the paper include a Works Cited page and adhere to MLA format and citation standards?
