Choose someone to interview, preferably within your community, that either has received long-term care services or has a child or parent that received long-term care services. Focus the interview on:
1. The long-term care services received,
2. The decision-making processes involved in selecting these services, and
3. The opinions about the quality of these services and the care team providing the services.
Following your interview, write a 2-3 page response paper that summarizes your interview.
In your conclusion, reflect on the following questions:
1. What was the most positive aspect of the long-term care received?
2. What made it positive?
3. What single change in long-term care services or the decision-making process could have resulted in a more positive experience for your interviewee? Why?
4. How does your interviewees insight impact your perceptions of long-term care and/or your future career in this field?
