Complete a 3-page, double-spaced critical analysis and reflection essay from “Book 4” in C.S. Lewis’ Mere Christianity. Review essay should be divided into three parts. A good goal would be to give one page to each part. The parts are as follows:
1. Summary:
Identify the author’s main purpose in writing the selected chapter.
Identify the role the chapter plays in the book.
Summarize in your own words the major concepts of the chapter.
2. Critical Analysis:
Consider how Lewis structured his argument? Was it effective? Why or why not?
Identify areas of agreement or disagreement. Explain your selection.
3. Personal Reflection:
Identify anything of which you were not previously aware.
What was the most helpful part? Why?
How do you see yourself using this information in your own ministry context?
