How successful an advocacy nonprofit is in influencing policy outcomes is dependent on the following factors:
– Proximity of the organizations goals to American values
– Organizations capacity to win public attention and support
– Ability to effect political fortunes of leaders
– Good leadership
– Ability to control the narrative
Choose 2 advocacy nonprofits: one you think has been successful at influencing public policy and one who think has struggled. Analyze each non profit organization according to the list above. This should be a 2 page paper.

– World Health Organization (WHO) – (I think they are successful at influencing public policy)
– Centers for Disease Control (CDC) – (I believe they have struggled due to COVID)
