In a two to three page essay,
given your reading of the Meno, discuss the role recollection plays in active and the act of learning. What Is recollection and how is it different from rote memory and memorization. Discuss the slave boy experiment and describe this method of recollection (anamnesis ) at work during the geometrical problem. What is Socrates’ point and what is recollection bade upon?
Also, use some examples from your own educational experience that give some credence to the theory that knowledge is innate and only needs to be creatively elicited.
