Individually choose a nursing theory for analysis via class presentation. Your presentation needs to include the following:
NURSE Rubric Criteria:
1)Discuss two theorists backgrounds and paradigm reference Why were these theory chosen? 10%
2)Key points of theory, Concepts specific to theory 30%
3)Applicability of theory to nursing practice and research- provide examples 20%
4) Critique [evaluation] of theory following standardized format,
e.g., Chinn & Kramer; Walker & Avant; Fawcett 20%
5)Examples of 2 research questions that could utilize this theory 10%
6)Creativity and Organization of presentation (evidence of group participation, teaching aids, handouts, class involvement, professional approach) 10%
