Interventions for Anxiety and Trauma-Related Reactions to Mask-Wearing
With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic came the accepted practice of wearing face masks to mitigate the spread of the virus. For some people, mask-wearing causes increased anxiety, feelings of panic, and trauma-related reactions. This presentation addresses psychological symptoms of and interventions for distress related to mask-wearing.
