Write down five tips or new ideas that you learned from Jeremy Goldman’s video, SCOA: Spreadsheet Sunday.
For example:
I knew that you can press Tab to move forward in a spreadsheet, but learned that if you press Shift+Tab you move backwards one space. I learned that when you press Sigma you can total columns and that when you press the Filter icon, you can sort by what you need. I also discovered how to Merge cells to create a single title. I also learned how to Hide a column (for example, student names) so that I can show students what scores kids had when they were accepted into different colleges.
If you are an expert user with data spreadsheets, please share at least five tips or tricks that you use and how you might implement them as a school counselor working with real data.
