The author thinks we are headed towards a world where a huge brick-and-mortar retail location will struggle because it does not have millions of choices. Amazon.com and Walmart.com can fix this with third-party, drop shipments. He also thinks that speed is the name of the game.
ANSWER – Does Amazon.com agree by spending billions on distribution centers to improve on 2-day delivery with same day (or two hour) delivery?
