Please show your understanding of the concepts of exploration, exploitation, empire building (and destroying), as it occurred in Latin America from the earliest Indigenous Empires to the conquest by and established settlements of the Spanish and Portuguese.
You may choose a specific focus (such as race, slavery, religion, economy, politics, etc.), or a particular region (such as Mexico, Peru, Brazil, etc.), a particular group (such as the Catholic Church, the Friars, the Jesuits, etc.), or take a broader approach to the whole of Latin America during this very early period of European invasion and colonization.
