Write a 700- to 1050-word explication of the poems meaning and effect on the reader focusing on the relationship between the form of the poem and the content. Remember that form refers to all aspects of how a poem is written. This might be as general as the length of a poem or as specific as word choice and sound.
Support your interpretation by referring to the contents of the Versification section in The Norton Anthology.
Integrate the periods expectations of what a poem is and should be; consider what this poem means in the context of medieval or 16th-century society.
