We have seen how COVID-19 is devastating countries and communities across the globe. From what have witnessed during the past year, we are in need of more efficient technologies than ever. Perhaps we rethink how money is spent.
Suppose you are the head of a nonprofit organization which determines the funding allocated to science projects. The organization receives an anonymous donation of 500 million dollars with a condition that the money must be spent in basic science research which could be developing new technologies or doing basic research in medical fields or alternative energy or any basic research similar to those listed above.
