you will write a short essay (800 words, double-spaced) on one of the themes we have considered in that unit. You will start each essay with a thesis statement that you will defend using material that we have studied, or other references that you find in the library or on the internet (the latter at a reputable site, please, and this does not include Wikipedia or other sites with anonymous contributors).
